Everyday K9 officers put their lives at risk to keep the public safe. We want to honor K9 Cade of the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office who died in the line of duty on July 4, 2018. According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, K9 Cade was tracking down a suspect in Brownsburg, Indiana when he had a medical emergency. K9 Cade showed symptoms of distress after tracking and apprehending a suspect. He was taken to a veterinarian and unfortunately passed away the next day.
We thank K9 Cade for his 3 and a half years of service with the Hendricks County Sherrif's Office. We offer our condolences to Cade's handler and the entire Sheriff's Office. Please show your support for K9 Cade by leaving a comment below.
